We definitely need a way to block all of the silly 3rd party app invitations. The apps are often good, but the invitations are ridiculous and are clogging up the once nice and neat Facebook.

Absolutely agreed!

Even just a general option in preferences to block 3rd party everything - notifications, invitations, even mini-feed spam. Ugh.

Agreed. I used to check in on people all the time, but now signing in is scary. @_@
