So you’ve all seen them. The mac ads that belittle PCs. I’m not a mac fan myself but I do enjoy the commercials. Besides, they give me something to debate with my coworker Cara.
But now, brought to you by the good people at truenuff.com, I present to you three new commercials. Take particular note of the third character in the gaming sketch - I think I must have a crush on him.
In other news, Marla and I started and finished arranging a song for my Grandmother’s 90th birthday on Sunday. Remind me to post it some time.
Also, Loki has recently been responding to the name “Lavender Raspberry”. Who are we to choose what his name is? Lavender Raspberry it is.

I’m a horrible Scrubs fan. Sure, each entry in my blog is a small tribute to the wonderful show, but even my posting has become horribly infrequent. I preordered and received the third season on DVD weeks ago, but haven’t even watched it. My cue-card episode guides (yes, you heard me) have stalled somewhere within the second season. To be fair, I now work full time and am lucky enough to even get some time with Michael. I’m not even caught up with the fifth season’s episodes yet. Tsk tsk. I will have to improve - I think I’ll make a date with my DVD player tonight.
More nostalgia after my SixDegrees mention. I recently have revisited the Webmaster Forum again. This is my third arrival to the community. Interesting to see what’s happened since.
In other web news, I am having an argument with Apple’s Safari browser. An image map I have created for Western’s redesigned Alumni site looks decent in Opera, Explorer, Firefox, Netscape, Mozilla, Camino, and even IE for mac, but is torn apart in Safari. I have run my .css through many validators with no problems in that area and posted on both the Apple and webmaster forums. Anyone…?

Inspired by the theory of six degrees of separation, sixdegrees is your personal on-line community where you have the ability to interact, communicate and share information and experiences with millions of other members from around the world, all of whom are connected to you.
My oldest online friend brought my attention to a screenshot of the parting words of the now-defunct sixdegrees.com. At 6D I began my online presence. Following the steps of my brothers, I joined the site and the accompanying chat rooms: BMans Pub and TeenChat. I met many a person, including Cyclosis (Chris) and Dionysus (Travis) who still remain on my messenger lists to this day.
After many years and flourishing popularity, 6D announced it was going to close for good on December 30th, 2000 at 11:59pm. Those were the days.

The University of Western Ontario’s homepage has recently featured an ugly mug. As a very condensed sequence of events:
Terry (Boss): Laura, you’re graduating right?
Laura: Uhh.. yeah. Next week.
Paul (Photographer): We’re going to take some shots of you for the homepage.
Laura: Does this mean I have to shower?

The first from the homepage, the second from the attached article, and the third for all of you to remember me by. The parents are coming next Wednesday when I have to wear the robe for real. Afterwards we’re headed out with the Robbs and a Bentley to Michael’s on the Thames. My undergraduate career is over.
